Air-filled tyres and good suspension will handle rough terrain well. It's also suitable for jogging but you should wait until your baby is at least six or nine months old before doing this.

This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is a great option for parents looking for lightweight strollers with added features. The travel system includes a lie flat carrycot for newborns and an adjustable forward and rear facing seat for a pushchair.

The XL Air is a really impressive buggy, and it's easy to understand why it has been awarded so many praises from its customers. It is extremely light - the wheels and chassis weigh only 6.5kg. It is also very easy to assemble. I was able to get it up and running in under five minutes - which is amazing considering that it includes the fabric for the carrycot to be attached.

It has a lovely wide seat that is comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months) and the recline lever is very easy to operate. The basket has plenty of room and I find it nice that the handle bar has a pocket to keep your keys and phone safe.

The handlebar is low, which could be a problem for parents who are taller. It's covered in a soft, comfortable leather-like material, which is easy to clean.

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is designed for parents who like to explore and are always on the move. The large pneumatic wheels can be used on field and forest paths. The front three wheel pushchairs can be locked and swivels for added versatility. It also comes with a padded 5-point safety harness and front bar to keep your little one safe on all trips, while the parking brake effectively stops the stroller from moving when you take a break. The comfortable seat is simple to lower to a lying position, and the canopy opens up with netting to ensure maximum air circulation during hot days. The grey, tan and cream fabrics used in the stroller as well as the car seat are fashionable and there's an option to add the leather cover handle and bumper bar too.

It's suitable for babies up to a maximum weight of 22kg. The stroller seat easily converts from the carrycot to a 2-in-1 reversible mode, parent-facing or world-facing. The stroller seat has multi lie back positions, comfortable padded leg rests and has an extendable sun canopy with concealed zip sections, viewing see through flap and an retractable sun visor.
